Petropolis - Grooming

Depending on the Breed and condition of your pet we recommend that you have your dog groomed every 6-8 weeks. Your groomer will be happy to guide you with a grooming schedule that meets you and your pets’ specific needs.

Proper grooming not only improves the physical appearance of your pet but also improves the physical and emotional health of your pet.

We maintain a thorough history of every pet we groom. On your first visit you will be asked to complete a client/pet history form. This form provides us with a full background of your pets’ medical, emotional and grooming history, your veterinarian’s information and all of your contact information.

* Most of our grooming services can be completed within 1.5 - 3 hours.

Fridays – 11:30 – 7:00
Saturdays – 11:00 – 6:00
Sundays – 12:00 – 5:00

We will be adding grooming services on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s as well as pick up and drop off services in the very near future.

Grooming Services:

Brush outs – A full Brush out and comb through before and after bathing
Hair cuts and Trims – specific client requested styling or Breed specific show cuts
Blow out & drying – to remove excess hair and undercoat - We do not use cage dryers.
Cat Grooming – Prices are based upon condition of the coat and customer specification

All pricing depends on breed, size, condition of coat/skin and requested styling. Please visit or call us for a base line quote.
All grooming includes an initial consultation with your groomer; nail clipping, ear cleaning & ear plucking where necessary and a sanitary.

Special services:

We offer special care appointments for puppies, aged and disabled pets and cater to the special needs of “the difficult dog”. Please consult with shop owner or groomer prior to scheduling an appointment.

We groom pets from start to finish enabling a grooming to be completed in a shorter period of time. This seems to make our most nervous customers more relaxed. We will usually start within fifteen minutes of scheduled appointment and will call our client 20 minutes before the completion time to reduce the amount of time your pet will spend in the crate.

Additional Services:

We offer hand stripping and scissoring - Please contact us for price levels.
Nail Clippings for dogs $10 and cats $15 – no appointments necessary.
Tooth Brushing/ Scaling – Promotes healthy teeth and gums $15
De-matting - $15 for 15 minutes
Flea & tick Treatments - $20
